Please do not leave any trash or smelly foods outside! The bears will come for a visit and make a mess of it. For this reason, we do not have a trash can or dumpster at the property. If your stay is longer than five days, upon your request, we can pick up and dispose of any trash you may have.
Please leave the thermostat between 55-75 degrees. The whole house humidifier will run even when the thermostat isn’t on. When you check out, please turn the thermostat down to 60 degrees. Thank you!
We all want super clean water, so please shower without soap before use and wipe any debris off your feet before getting in. Please keep the lid on and clipped when not in use. We also ask that you empty in one chemical cup directly into the hot tub filter before each use.
The Smart TV can be used with HDMI to your personal device or through digital platform (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, or whatever you have subscriptions for). Please make sure to log out of all of your accounts on your checkout day.
If you want to connect to just the speaker for music, use your device to connect with Apple Airplay (this is not a Bluetooth device).

Altitude Sickness is when your body doesn’t have time to adjust properly to lower oxygen availability higher up in the atmosphere. Some symptoms include feeling light headed, nausea, headache, fatigue, trouble sleeping, and vision changes.
If you are feeling any of these symptoms, we highly recommend to drink a lot of water and keep your body hydrated. There is a Walmart located in Woodland Park (10 minutes away) which sells oxygen cans. In severe cases, we recommend driving down to Colorado Springs where the elevation is lower than up in the mountains.
We recommend booking an appointment at Elevation Hydration located in Colorado Springs. They offer IV Hydration Therapy to help eliminate altitude sickness.
